A Note From Holly
I did not set out to run a school.
I set out to answer one question, which is what would it actually take to help a child become the kind of adult who can build the life they want. Not survive it. Build it. Everything at Wonderstorm came out of that question, and it is still the question I use to decide almost everything here.
So when you call me, that is what I am going to ask you about. Not your child's test scores. Your child.
I want to know what lights them up and what shuts them down. What they do when something is hard. Whether they ask questions at the dinner table. What you are afraid they are losing. Thirty minutes goes faster than you think, and I have never once come off one of these calls thinking it was wasted time.
I will also tell you honestly if I do not think we are the right place. There are wonderful children who are not a fit for how we do things, and pretending otherwise helps nobody, least of all the child.

The Questions Parents Ask Before They Book.
"Is this going to turn into a sales call?"
No, and Holly is the reason. She is the head of school, not an admissions rep. She has no quota and nothing to hit. If the fit is not there, the call ends with her telling you so.
"I am not sure we can afford it."
Then say that on the call, in the first five minutes. Holly would rather have that conversation up front than waste your afternoon on a tour. She will tell you what tuition actually runs and what options exist, and you can decide from there with real numbers instead of a guess.
"My child is already halfway through the school year somewhere else."
That comes up constantly. Bring it to the call. The answer depends on your child's age, where they are academically, and what is going on at their current school, which is exactly the kind of thing a phone call is good for and a webpage is useless for.
